“Girls on Top” Everest Base Camp
This motorcycle adventure to Everest is led by Steph Jeavons, the first Brit to circumnavigate the globe and ride on all seven continents. She wants to use her experience to encourage and motivate more women to take the initiative for motorcycle adventure. This is the first time ever that a group of female motorcyclists have ridden to Mount Everest with Steph leading the ride.
This motorcycle adventure starts in Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal, and goes all the way to the base camp of the highest mountain on Earth: Mt. Everest. Tour Pothala Palace, the spiritual winter home of the Dalai Lama, and cross the high Tibetan Plains on this motorcycle adventure to Everest.
Steph advises that ‘You don’t need to be an expert to take on a challenge like this. When I left home I was terrified but sometimes you just have to go for it. That very act alone can be life changing’.
Royal Enfield Bullet Trials Works Replica 500
This motorcycle is the perfect solution for the people who want to ride the legendary original Royal Enfield Bullet without the unreliability. It’s got plenty of power and stops without any drama, so it’s ideal for a motorcycle adventure to Everest.
We have bought a new fleet of them which you can ride from 2020 onwards. You can swap over with someone else in the group and ride the Himalayan if you want to try both.
Royal Enfield Himalayan
The Himalayan is an ‘all-rounder’ built on an entirely new platform, sharing no parts with any previous Royal Enfield models. It’s ultra-reliable and great fun to ride. We’ve had no breakdowns since we started using them in 2016 for our motorcycle tours and we have almost 50 in our fleet.
It really is the perfect vehicle for our motorcycle adventure to Everest. The rider feedback had been excellent and everybody that has ridden one has thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
WHERE WE TRAVEL
ON OUR TOURS
“I will thrive off the experiences for the rest of my life”
“Thank you to everyone who came together from four different continents (UK/Europe, Africa, India/Asia, and Australia) who made the adventure what it was. I will thrive off the experiences for the rest of my life.”
“every day was an adventure”
This ‘holiday’ was an incredible journey. The scenery was stunning, the riding always challenging, and the people brilliant. It is not an overstatement to say that every day was an adventure and I made some great friends along the way.
“hugely rewarding trip”
It was a challenging but hugely rewarding trip. The memories of the trusty old motorcycle, the fantastic people I was riding alongside, the breathtaking scenery and of rounding a blind bend on a mountain pass and coming face to face with sleeping cow will stay with me for a long time and inspire many more adventures!
