A QUICK UPDATE
6 September, 2024
Myself and the team are about to embark on our September and October ‘Rode To Everest’ rides. We’re in the process right now of trucking all our motorcycles up from India into Nepal. We’ll then ride across the Tibet border for the long haul over the desolate and lonely Tibetan Plateau. We rest on day nine in Lhasa. We’re pretty much acclimatised by this point as we now head towards Everest Base Camp. Nothing can truly prepare you when viewing Everest for the first time. And even more mind-blowing is bedding down for the night at Base Camp with Everest in full view. We’re riding it for the very first time on our brand new Royal Enfield 450 Himalayans. I’ve just bought 30 of them and trust me when I tell you that they are absolute game changers for what we do.
Plenty of power, great handling, reliable, comfortable riding and ideal for long days in the saddle. The rider feedback so far has been excellent. Everyone has enjoyed riding them.
If you’re considering joining us on a ride at some point, take a few minutes to watch this short update.
I got a rare chance to sit down with Simon and answer some questions on our rest day in Manali, towards the end of our August 2024 Roof Of India ride.
I look forward to riding with you.
Cheers.

So you’re considering taking on a real adventure? I remember the feeling. In 2006, I was sat right where you are now… wondering if it was for me.
Join our mailing list – The Knight Club – and I’ll send my no-BS thoughts on why you should (or shouldn’t) take it on. No sales. No special offers. These rides aren’t for everyone, but if you’re the right kind of person, it can remind you what it means to be alive.
All the best, Alex.
